    Total minutes per cycle

Type the total minutes this course meets per cycle. With the total minutes per cycle for the course program, this number determines when and where the course can be placed within the master schedule.

    Minimum minutes per session

Type the minimum number of minutes this course must meet each session. This, with the total minutes per cycle, helps determine when and where the course can be placed within the master schedule.

    Section enrollment max

Type the maximum number of students that the system can enroll in this course.

    Base terms per year

Type the base terms for this course. Base terms are the total number of schedule terms this course is offered. For example, full-year courses have a base term of 1. If a course meets half the year (a single semester), the base term is 2.

    Include sub group

Select this checkbox if you want to schedule all sub groups in the same section as the group.

    Include in scheduling

Select this checkbox if you want to include this course in the build process.

    Covered terms per year

Type the covered terms for this course. The covered term represents the fraction of the base term this course meets. For example, if this is a course that meets Semester 2 of a two-semester year, the base terms are 2 and the covered term is 1.

    Preferred Start time

Type a time of day. This preference is used to auto-schedule courses in the Matrix view. If not set, this course can't be auto-scheduled.

    Preferred Start day

Type a number that represents a schedule day in the school's day structure. For example, if you are using a five day structure, Wednesday is day 3. The number 0 (zero) represents all days. This preference is used to auto-schedule courses that don't meet every day in the Matrix view. If not set, this course can't be auto-scheduled.
