Enter Rubric Grades

In some courses, teachers might evaluate students according to a rubric.

To enter grades in rubricClosed a structured set of grading criteria. For example, an English rubric might contain a criterion for reading comprehension, grammar, and writing-based grade columns:

  1. Log on to the School or Staff view.
    • If you log on to the School view, click the Grades tab, and the Grade Input side-tab. Then click Input Grid.
    • If you log on to the Staff view, click the Gradebook tab, and the Scores side-tab.
  1. Select the class you want to enter grades for.
  2. To enter a grade, do one of the following:
    • Type a rating if you know it, or a numeric grade if allowed by the rubric.
    • Press CTRL+L to view a list of possible ratings.
    •  

    • Click the student’s name to expand the rubric, and to view descriptions for all grade values:
      • Select the Details checkbox to view the details of each grade criterion.
      • Use the Depth Control bar Blue arrows to collapse or expand all criteria levels, or one at a time.
      • The system automatically saves the grades you enter. Click the Scores side-tab to return to the Scores page to view all students, or use the record navigation bar Record navigation bar.  to move to another student within the section.
