Set up locking in the IEP Data table

To prevent multiple users from modifying an IEP at the same time, you can set up IEP locking. If another user opens a locked the IEP,, they see a red Locked icon, indicating the IEP is locked.

To lock the IEP Data table:

  1. Log on to the District or Intermediate Organization view.
  2. Select Admin > Data Dictionary
  3. Find and select the IEP Data table.
  4. Select the Allow table lock checkbox.
  5. In the Table lock timeout (minutes) field, type the number of minutes you want the lock to last before it expires. When the lock expires, the user is prompted to save their work and continue or cancel and release the lock, discarding their edits.
  6. Click Save.
